The judicial district Kladno ( Czech : soudní okres Kladno ) was a judicial district subordinate to the district court Kladno in the Crown Land of Bohemia . It comprised areas in Central Bohemia around the city of Kladno , which was also the seat of the judicial district. The area has belonged to the newly founded Czechoslovakia since 1918 and has been part of the Czech Republic since 1993 .

history

The original patrimonial jurisdiction was abolished in the Austrian Empire after the revolutionary years of 1848/49 . They were replaced by the district, regional and higher regional courts, which were planned according to the principles of the Minister of Justice and whose creation was approved by Emperor Franz Joseph I on July 6, 1849 . The area of the later judicial district of Kladno initially belonged to the Unhošt ( Unhošť ) in the Prague district , which in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the judicial districts Smichow ( Smíchov ) and Königsaal ( Zbraslav ) formed the district Smichow .

In 1877 the creation of the Kladno judicial district was determined, which was formed from the municipalities of Butzkow , Duby , Kladno, Rozdělow , Kročihlaw , Stelčowes and Wřetowitz from the district of the Unhoscht judicial district. The Kladno District Court subsequently began its activities on May 1, 1878.

On October 1, 1893, the judicial districts of Kladno and Unhošt were split off, which subsequently together formed the district of Kladno .

In 1900 there were 41,478 people living in the judicial district of Kladno. The judicial district of Kladno had a population of 48,636 in 1910, of which 1,361 gave German and 47,140 Czech as the colloquial language. 135 foreign speakers or foreigners lived in the judicial district.

Due to the border provisions of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , which was concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Kladno came completely to the newly founded Czechoslovakia , with the court division essentially remaining in place until 1938. After the Munich Agreement , the area was added to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia .

After the Second World War, the area belonged to the Okres Kladno , whose authorities, however, lost their administrative powers in the course of an administrative reform in 2003. Since then, these have been perceived by the municipalities and the Středočeský kraj , and the area around Kladno has belonged to the beginning of the 21st century.

Courthouse

The court district in 1910 comprised the seven communities Buštěhrad (German: Buschtiehrad , formerly: Butzkow ), Dubí (Dubi), Kladno , Kročehlavy (Kročehlaw), Rozdělov (Rozdělow), Stelčoves (Stelčowes) and Vřetovice (Wřetowitz).
