Stehelčeves is a village in Central Bohemia / Czech Republic , 7 km northeast of Kladno. It has an area of 4.98 km² and has 943 inhabitants. The local zip code is 273 42.
The village is the seat of the "micro region of the three brooks". The oldest mention of the village comes from 1316 about "Jan de Stehelcziewssi".
history
Stehelčeves or Stehelče (German: Stelčowes) was a village municipality. which belonged to the political and judicial district of Kladno, Northern Bohemia, District IV. In 1932 there were around 1,800 inhabitants in Stehelčeves and Vrapice. There was a brewery, a mill, a brick factory, and a sand pit. The next train station was in Brandyal.
