Pərviz Fizuli oğlu Bağırov (* 10. February 1994 ) is an Azerbaijani boxer in the welterweight division .
successes
Among other things, he was Azerbaijani youth champion in 2010, European youth champion in 2011 and bronze medalist at the World Youth Championships in Yerevan in 2012 .
In the elite class he became the Azerbaijani champion in 2014 and took part in the 2015 European Games in Baku . There he moved through wins against Vasile Belous , Abass Baraou and Josh Kelly in the final, where he was able to defeat Alexander Besputin . At the 2015 World Championships in Doha he defeated Marvin Cabrera and Roniel Iglesias before he was eliminated in the semifinals against Danijar Jeleussinow with the bronze medal.
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he was eliminated in the round of 16 against Frenchman Souleymane Cissokho . At the 2017 European Championships in Kharkiv, he lost in the quarter-finals and qualified for the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg . There he was eliminated in the round of 16.
