Stanley Cup Challenge
As PCHA champions, Victoria Aristocrats were the first team in this league to take part in the Stanley Cup games. There they met the Toronto Blueshirts from the National Hockey Association , which they defeated in a best-of-five series with a sweep . Before that, those responsible had forgotten to officially challenge their opponent, so that a victory of the aristocrats might not have been recognized anyway.
