LEDA / PGC 11834 (also NGC 1232A ) is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBm in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is an estimated 292 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 1232 , it forms an optical pair of galaxies.
