LEDA / PGC 1578 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Andromeda in the northern sky . It is around 216 million light years from the Milky Way .
Together with NGC 97 , NGC 108 , PGC 1544 , PGC 1552 and PGC 1913 , it forms the NGC 108 group or LGG 5 .
The supernova SN 1968N was observed here.
