NGC 108 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Andromeda in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 219 million light years from the Milky Way and about 140,000 light years in diameter. Together with five other galaxies, it forms dei.
The object was discovered on September 11, 1784 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
