NGC 107 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 284 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 116 .
The object was discovered on January 14, 1866 by the German-Baltic astronomer Otto Wilhelm von Struve .
