NGC 106 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type Scd in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 274 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered in 1886 by the American astronomer Francis Preserved Leavenworth .
