LEDA / PGC 3100716 (also NGC 806-2 ) is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation from Hubble type S in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 172 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 20,000 light-years across. Together with NGC 806 , it forms a close, gravitationally bound galaxy pair.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 811 .
