LEDA / PGC 31559 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Sextant south of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 378 million light years from the Milky Way . Together with IC 628 , it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair. 
The galaxies NGC 3326 and IC 634 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on May 18, 1892 .
