LEDA / PGC 40547 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type dE5 in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 47 million light years away from the Milky Way and is part of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster under the designation VCC 816 . Together with IC 3313 , it forms the galaxy pair Holm 398 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4396 , NGC 4379 , IC 787 , IC 788 .
