Pablo Pintos , full name Pablo César Pintos Cabral , (born July 1, 1987 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

Pablo Pintos, playing on the right wing, started professional football in 2006 at Defensor Sporting Club . After he was active here for three seasons and was Uruguayan champion in the 2007/08 season, he moved to the Argentine soccer club CA San Lorenzo de Almagro in mid-2009 . According to press reports, the receiving club acquired 50% of the transfer rights and paid a sum of 700,000 US dollars. For the Argentines, he completed 33 games in the Primera División in the Apertura 2009 and Clausura 2010. In the summer of 2008 he moved for a transfer fee of around one and a half million euros to Europe to Lazio . Due to a change in the foreigner regulation in Italy, however, he subsequently went to the Spanish Primera División club Getafe FC . There he made his debut on October 3, 2010 in the game against Hércules Alicante in the Primera División . Overall, however, he only came to six appearances in Spain's top division in the first season. His last game for the Spaniards was on February 5, 2011 against Deportivo La Coruña . By then he had also played two games in the Europa League (including against VfB Stuttgart ) and three in the cup. After he did not get a chance in the following season, he was offered at the instigation of his player agent Daniel Fonseca at the clubs in his home country. As part of a six-month loan, his association Defensor signed him on January 31, 2012, the last day of the changeover period, for the Torneo Clausura 2012 and the Copa Libertadores competition.

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish first division promoted Kasımpaşa Istanbul . There he completed seven league games and scored one goal. He was also used once in the cup. His club finished sixth in the table at the end of the season. At the beginning of August 2013 he joined the Argentine club CA Tigre . On August 31, 2013 he made his debut there in the league. For Tigre, he ultimately only came into play in two league games. In January 2014 he returned to another position at his previous employer Defensor. He played eight league games (no goal) and two games in the 2014 Copa Libertadores for the Montevideans in the 2013/14 season . After the season it was announced that he was leaving the club. On September 9, 2014, he joined the San José Earthquakes , for which he played six league games (no goal). At the end of February 2016, he moved to the Uruguayan first division club Liverpool Montevideo . In the 2016 Clausura he played with the Montevideans in six games (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league.
