Paicines AVA (recognized since August 16, 1982) is a wine-growing region in the US state of California . The area is located in the southeastern part of the San Benito County administrative area and is part of the parent Central Coast AVA and San Benito AVA . To the west of this are the Cienega Valley AVA and Lime Kiln Valley AVA .

Paicines is the warmest wine region in the San Benito area but still cooler than the areas further east in the Central Valley .
