Pak Nam-chol (born July 2, 1985 in Pyongyang ) is a North Korean football player .

Games for the national team

The defender made five appearances for the North Korean national team in 2004 and 2005 in World Cup qualification . In 2005 he took part with the selection in the qualifying round of the East Asian Championship, but was not considered for the final tournament. In 2007 he played in the North Korean Olympic team (U-23), so he was on the field during qualifying for the 2008 Olympic football tournament when they stayed behind Australia and Iraq in the final qualifying round. In 2008 he was part of the squad of the senior national team in the final round of the East Asian Cup, and in 2010 he surprisingly missed the finals with North Korea.

In the successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup , he formed the defensive line together with Ri Jun-il , Cha Jong-hyok and Ri Kwang-chon , which in the 14 games of the 2nd and 3rd qualifying rounds remained 10 times without conceding and thus the Laying the foundation for success.
