The Palais is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Brossac generally drained southwest to south and empties after 31 kilometers in the municipality of Saint-Pierre-du-Palais , opposite to the neighboring community Cercoux belonging place valine as left tributary to the Lary . On its way, the Palais crosses the Charente and Charente-Maritime departments .
