The Alm Palenica Białczańska is an alpine pasture in the Dolina Białki valley in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . The alp is located above the Łysa Polana alp . It is about a thousand meters above sea level.
history
The pasture was created in the 17th century and has been on the border of the Tatra National Park since 1954 . There is a large car park on the Alm on the Oswald-Balzer-Weg panorama trail .
etymology
The name can be translated as clearing the Weißbach .
tourism
The parking lot is used by many tourists who enter the Tatra National Park via the Oswald-Balzer-Weg. Horse-drawn carriages drive from the alpine pasture to the Włosienica alpine pasture below the Meerauge mountain lake .
The Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Roztoki refuge is located near the mountain pasture .
There are three hiking trails above the Alm:
- ▬ from the parking lots at Alm Łysa Polana via a red marked hiking trail to the mountain lake Meerauge .
- ▬ from the Meerauge mountain lakevia Toporowa Cyrhla , Psia Trawka and Rówień Waksmundzka via a red marked hiking trail.
- ▬ from the Dolina Roztoki and Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich valleysvia a green marked hiking trail thatbeginsnear the Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza waterfall.
- ▬ from the Rusinowa Polana and Zazadna pastures via a blue-marked hiking trail.
