Palos Blancos is a country town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Palos Blancos is the central place of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Palos Blancos in the province of Sud Yungas and is located at the union of the Río Boopi and Río Cotacajes to the Río Alto Beni , the upper reaches of the Río Beni .

Palos Blancos is located in the Bolivian Yungas at an average altitude of 450  m east of the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Real .
