Paolo Giulietti (born January 1, 1964 in Perugia , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Lucca .

Life

Paolo Giulietti received on 29 September 1991 the Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve, Ennio Antonelli , the ordination . Since 2010 he has been Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Perugia-Città della Pieve .

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Termae Himerae and auxiliary bishop in Perugia-Città della Pieve on May 30, 2014 . He was ordained episcopal on August 10th of the same year by the Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve, Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti . Co- consecrators were the President Emeritus of the Pontifical Council for the Family and former Bishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve, Cardinal Ennio Antonelli , and the old Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve, Giuseppe Chiaretti .

On January 19, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Lucca. The inauguration took place on May 12 of the same year.
