Paolo Mosconi

Paolo Mosconi (born September 13, 1914 in Santa Giuletta , Pavia Province , Italy , † December 14, 1981 ) was a diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Paolo Mosconi was ordained a priest on April 2, 1938 and served in the Vatican diplomatic service. In 1967 Pope Paul VI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of additional gear and the Pro-Nuncio in Madagascar . He received his episcopal ordination on December 10, 1967, Cardinal Secretary of State Amleto Giovanni Cicognani ; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Agostino Casaroli , and the Bishop of Tortona , Francesco Rossi . In 1969 he worked for the Roman Curia . In 1970 he was appointed pro-nuncio in Iraq. Already in 1971 Pope Paul VI. Mosconi's resignation from the office of Pro-Nuncio in Iraq for health reasons.
