Pascal Ezguilian

Pascal Ezguilian (* 1938 in Martigues ; † September 13, 2017 in Yerevan ) was a French / Armenian basketball coach . From 1974 to 1976 he was the coach of the German national team.

career

Ezguilian was born in Martigues in the south of France to a family from Armenia . When he was eight years old, he and his family moved to the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic . He played basketball in the Soviet Union and then became a coach.

Between 1974 and 1976 he was the coach of the German national team . He later worked as a sports teacher in Paris and was a coach at various French clubs such as Asnières Basket Ball, he coached the team of the French military unit Bataillon de Joinville and the first division club Alsace de Bagnolet.
