Passy is a town in the Foundiougne department of the Fatick region , in the south-west of Senegal .
Geographical location
Passy is located in the northeast of the Foundiougne department halfway between the towns of Kaolack in the northeast and Sokone in the southwest.
Passy is located 151 kilometers southeast of Dakar , 42 kilometers south of the Fatick regional prefecture and 28 kilometers southeast of Foundiougne .

Passy lies on the national highway N 5 , the Kaolack through the hinterland of Saloumdeltas with Banjul , the capital of the neighboring country Gambia connects. The N5 is also part of the Dakar-Lagos Highway , one of the Trans-African Highways . In the city center, the asphalted R61 branches off the N5 in a north-westerly direction, creating the only regional land connection to the departmental prefecture of Foundiougne .
Passy is connected to Kaolack Airport, 28 km away, and the national air transport network via the N5 .
