Patrick Wischnewski

Patrick Wischnewski (born March 17, 1987 ) is a German basketball player . In the 2010/11 season he completed 25 games for the Giants Düsseldorf in the basketball league .

career

Wischnewski comes from the youth department of the Hamburg club Bramfelder SV and made it into the atmosphere of the U16 national team. He played for the BSV men in the 2nd regional league, then in the 2006/07 season initially for TSG Bergedorf in the 1st regional league before returning to Bramfeld. In the 2007/08 season he first played for SSV Lokomotive Bernau (1st Regional League), but moved back to Bramfelder SV in January 2008.

In January 2009 Wischnewski was signed by the Cuxhaven BasCats . With the Lower Saxony he reached the final of the DBB Cup in May 2009 and was runner-up in the 2. Bundesliga ProA in the 2009/10 season . In the 2010/11 season he was under contract with the Giants Düsseldorf in the basketball Bundesliga : In 25 BBL appearances, he scored a total of 55 points, his Bundesliga record was 14 points in the game against Tübingen in early March 2011.

In the 2011/12 season, Wischnewski first wore the jersey of the Schwelmer Baskets , then that of SC Rist Wedel (both in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB ). He stayed in the ProB and strengthened the BG Leitershofen / Stadtbergen in 2012/13 . In 2013/14 he played briefly again for his parent club Bramfelder SV, in the second half of the season there was a return to the ProA in Cuxhaven.

Between 2014 and 2016, Wischnewski was under contract with the Itzehoe Eagles in the ProB. After a metatarsal fracture healed, he returned to his hometown club Bramfelder SV in the summer of 2017 and strengthened the men's team in the second regional league. He later played in the same league for Blau-Weiß Ellas.
