Patrick von Castelberg
Patrick von Castelberg (born August 26, 1973 in Wettingen ) is a Swiss tenor .
Life
Von Castelberg studied singing with Esther Feingold in Bern from the end of 1999 to the beginning of 2011 . Since 2002 he has appeared at public events, some with TV and radio broadcasts. He interprets well-known songs (pop classic, light classical music, arias and musicals) and also titles written especially for him. He met a broader audience at his appearances at Art on Ice , during his Ave Maria the world champions in pair skating Anselika Krylowa and Oleg Ovsjannikow ran their freestyle.
He sang alongside the American Valerie Scott at the Basel Tattoo in summer 2009. Together with the massed pipes and drums , they presented a duet penned by Christoph Walter .
Von Castelberg also performed with Steve Lee (singer of the rock band Gotthard ), Irène Straub , Mario Pacchioli , Daniela Simmons, Lucerne Concert Band (under the direction of Christoph Walter), Maja Brunner , Monique , Sarah-Jane , Rahel Tarelli, Valerie Scott , Roy Ellis, Frank Tender and Helene Fischer .
