Irène Straub

Irène Straub (born June 27, 1971 ) is a Swiss musical singer , author and vocal teacher . She grew up in the city of Lucerne and lives in Kriens .

Straub, the qualified adult educator and federal dipl. Singing teacher SMPV , became known in Central Switzerland through various leading roles in musicals in the Culture and Congress Center Lucerne and later in Le Théâtre .

Since autumn 2006 Straub has also been in charge of artistic coordination at Le Théâtre. For the Le Théâtre production Chicago (November 2012 - January 2013) she realized a new translation into German and an adaptation of the dialogues together with Andréas Härry . Straub did the same work for the musical Daddy Cool , which premiered in the autumn of 2015 at Le Théâtre Kriens-Luzern with dialogues in German. In autumn 2016 she took part in the world premiere of the musical Summer of '85 at Le Théâtre . For this production Irène Straub worked as a co-author at the side of Andréas Härry. She also took on a role in production. In the follow-up production 95 - Ninety-Five 2017, Irène Straub was active again in the same functions.
