Patrik Kimpel (* 1967 in Kaub ) is a German chef .

Career

Kimpel completed his training from 1982 to 1985 at the " Krone " in Assmannshausen . Further positions were from 1986 Lothar Eiermann in Friedrichsruhe , 1987 to 1988 Hans-Peter Wodarz ( "Die Ente vom Lehel" ) and 1989 to 1990 Harald Wohlfahrt , Hotel Traube Tonbach . Under Herbert Langendorf he became sous chef again in the "Ente vom Lehel" , where he cooked from 1990 to 1992.

In 1993 he came to Kronenschlösschen , where he was managing director and head chef from 2010 to 2013 and was awarded one star in the Michelin Guide . From 2010 to 2012 he was President of the " Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe " in the Germany section.

In April 2013 he switched to the management of the Hotel Ketschauer Hof in Deidesheim . He left the hotel in April 2014. Since mid-2015 he has been operations manager at the Kronenhof in Bad Homburg .
