Paul-Dolf Neis

Paul-Dolf Neis (born July 26, 1933 in Cologne ; † December 3, 1996 in Leipzig ) was a German film and theater actor as well as dubbing and radio play speaker .

Life

Paul-Dolf Neis completed his acting training in the years 1953–1955 at the Max Reinhardt School in Berlin. He had his first stage engagement in 1955 at the Berlin Schloßparktheater . Further engagements followed at the theaters in Wittenberg and Plauen . In 1959 he was engaged at the Schauspielhaus Leipzig , where he worked until shortly before his death. In 1995 he joined the drama Leipzig Armin Petras ' directed by Sergi Belbels pats on as a gay, elderly man in the main program.

Paul-Dolf Neis has worked in several film and television productions. He also worked as a voice actor. In the German version of the Yugoslav film Koraci kroz magle (German title: Steps in the Fog ) he dubbed the actor Husein Cokic in the role of "Murdja", in 1959 in The Tale of the Bear Ondrej Jiří Papež in the role of "Ondřej" and in The 1980 version of the film Ghosts in the Castle featured actor Milburn Stone in the role of "Pat Vickery". In the HörDat online database, there are 26 entries on radio plays in which he participated as a radio play speaker. In 1995 he spoke to the guard in the MDR radio play production “ Uhrwerk Orange” .

His partner was the Dutch actress Marylu Poolman . The two met in 1959 when Neis came to the Leipzig theater.
