Paul Bostetter

Paul Bostetter (born June 25, 1878 in Diedenhofen , Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine , † January 23, 1960 in Munich ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Bostetter studied law at the Kaiser Wilhelms University . In 1898 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Strasbourg . After completing his studies and the court assessor exam in 1906, he joined the administrative service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . In 1907 he became a government assessor. From 1913 to 1918 he was district director of the Diedenhofen-West district . After the end of the First World War , he became police director in Saarbrücken in 1920 and then a councilor in Düsseldorf . In 1921 he was given the management of police operations in Duisburg . In 1922 he was first appointed senior councilor in a special position in Schleswig and then first representative of the district president in Cologne , before he was appointed vice-president of the government in Szczecin that same year . On March 15, 1933, he was given temporary retirement. Most recently he lived in Munich until his death in 1960 .
