Paul Krückmann

Paul Krückmann (born October 25, 1866 in Neukloster ; † October 10, 1943 in Münster ) was a German legal scholar at the University of Münster and a secret councilor .

Career

Paul Krückmann, b. on October 25, 1866 at Neukloster in Mecklenburg, son of the medical council Dr. med. Krückmann, passed Easter 1886 at the cathedral school Güstrow i. M. passed the Abitur exams, then related to one semester each at the Universities of Freiburg i. B., Leipzig, Munich, Berlin, the University of Rostock for two semesters , where he passed the first legal examination on April 23, 1890. On April 28, 1890, he was appointed trainee lawyer by the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. On November 24, 1891, Paul Krückmann passed the law doctor's examination at Georgia-Augusta and in May 1894 he qualified as a private lecturer in Roman law at the University of Göttingen . In 1898 Krückmann became an associate professor at the University of Greifswald . Four years later he was offered a position at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster, where he felt at home until his death. He died on October 10, 1943 in an air raid on Münster.
