Life

After graduating from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Studies, he stayed in Glasgow and has his own music studio there.

After Leonard-Morgan arranged almost mainly the music in short films from 1997 to 2004, his composition for the British television film Bad Cop, Good Cop won a BAFTA Award nomination for best composer newcomer . Other TV series and films followed before he was allowed to arrange a movie with popcorn for the first time in 2007 . With the US thriller Without Limit by Leslie Dixon and Neil Burger , Leonard-Morgan was allowed to work outside of Britain for the first time. He himself felt it was a great honor to have been chosen from among all the "Hollywood types". ("Even to get asked to pitch against all the Hollywood guys was fantastic. Then to actually get it with a director like Neil, who did The Illusionist, it's just a brilliant, brilliant buzz.")

In addition to his film scores, he has worked with artists such as Mogwai , Snow Patrol , Belle and Sebastian, and Texas .
