Paul Muckenhaupt (born October 12, 1901 in Olpe , Westphalia , † January 1, 1977 in Bad Nauheim ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and civil servant.

Paul Muckenhaupt was the son of a tanner and attended a humanistic high school in Olpe. From 1917 he did a commercial apprenticeship and became a businessman. From 1922 to 1925 he was a salesman and travel agent at the Hirschberg leather factory in Berlin and joined the trade union federation of employees (GDA). From 1934 Muckenhaupt was a travel agent for the Fiege brothers in Hanover . In 1943 he was drafted into the wholesale and foreign trade business group .

After the Second World War , Muckenhaupt worked for the Berlin magistrate . Since Bruno Lösche became district councilor in the Tiergarten district , Muckenhaupt moved up to the city ​​council of Greater Berlin in February 1949 , but left parliament in 1950 at the end of the legislative period . Most recently he was Senate Councilor at the Senate of Berlin and was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st Class .
