Paul Pfeuffer

Paul Pfeuffer (born January 2, 1929 in Acholshausen ; † June 15, 2012 in Würzburg ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Pfeuffer attended secondary school in Marktbreit and studied law at the University of Würzburg . He first worked as a trainee lawyer and then in the tax offices of Würzburg and Aschaffenburg . In 1962 he took over the management of the tax office in Waldmünchen , and in 1965 he moved to Gerolzhofen . From 1971 to 1980 he was government director and thus headed the tax office in Zeil am Main . Afterwards he was senior government director in Schweinfurt and head of the local tax office. From 1989 until his retirement he was head of the Würzburg tax office.

From 1969 to 1989 Pfeuffer was chairman of the CSU branch in Gerolzhofen. From 1972 to 1990 he was a member of the local city council, from 1984 he was second mayor. Also from 1972 to 1990 he was parliamentary group leader of the CSU in the Schweinfurt district assembly .

In 1982 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for a short time : he replaced the late Hermann Dürbeck on June 16 , but lost his mandate at the end of the election period on October 10.

Pfeuffer was from its foundation in 1967 to Chairman of Caritas -Kreisverbandes Gerolzhofen-Volkach-Wiesentheid .

Paul Pfeuffer was married and had two daughters. He died in a Würzburg clinic after a short illness.
