Paul Reiber (born November 15, 1904 , † 1992 ) was a German wrestler.

Life

At TSV Musberg , near Stuttgart , he learned to wrestle and made rapid progress. In 1922 he was the first Württemberg bantamweight champion. Seven more championship titles from Württemberg followed. From 1925 he was in the German and European top class, in that year he was also German champion in the Greco-Roman style in bantamweight. He represented Germany at a total of three European championships. At the end of the 1920s, however, he got such strong national competition in Germany in Kurt Leucht and Jakob Brendel , both Nuremberg and both Olympic champions , that he did not make any further international assignments. After his active time he became involved in his club as a coach and functionary.
