Paul Sellin
Paul Sellin (* 19th century; † 20th century) was a German writer and publicist in the field of the life reform movement and experimental occultism . He also worked as an inventor and entrepreneur.
Presumably he came from the Prussian province of Pomerania - at least for the year 1909 mentions from the community Georgendorf (today Lubkowo ) in the district Rummelsburg and from the community Altenhagen (today Jeżyce ) in the district Schlawe are documented. On March 16, 1909 he was awarded the patent for a "nailless horseshoe for horses" under number 393721 and on August 1 of the same year he was awarded a "mobile sawing machine with a reciprocating saw frame for long and cross-cutting of logs" the patent number 231311.
A little later he moved to the then still independent town of Altona and published the magazine Psyche there around 1910 in E. Seehase's Psychological Publishing House . Sellin was also a founding member of the German Association for Herbal Medicine . His publication Massenmensch und Individualist , published in 1911, was quoted in the 1981 Yearbook for International German Studies .
At the end of the 1920s - now living in Hamburg - he had reoriented himself professionally and ran a business for sewer clearing and cleaning machines. Among other things, he worked out special plans for cleaning the canals in the Elbmarschen near Hamburg.
