Pavel Trávníček (born October 26, 1950 in Konice near Prostějov ) is a Czech actor and voice actor .

life and career

Pavel Trávníček grew up in a very musical family and initially studied music at the Janáček Academy for Music in Brno , but then switched to acting. His big breakthrough came with his role of the Prince in the 1973 film Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella. Before this film, Trávníček had only worked in the smaller film production, Deceptive Passions , a student's graduation film. With this Cinderella director Václav Vorlíček was one of the examiners and occupied Trávníček later for his film. There were some problems for Trávníček in the role of the prince, so he could not ride and spoke with dialect. In the original Czech version it therefore had to be dubbed . Trávníček is now active as a voice actor and spoke among others Steve Guttenberg , Alec Baldwin and Jeff Goldblum .

In the following years after Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella , he was cast in other fairy tale films, such as The Third Prince , in which he played again with Libuše Šafránková . In 1997 he founded the Skelet Theater in Prague, where he is both artistic director and actor. Mainly comedies are performed here. He also moderated the music show DO-RE-MI on Czech television with Sabina Laurinová .

The actor has been married for the fourth time since the summer of 2015. He had a son with his wife Monika in December 2016, and from his previous marriages he also has two grown-up sons.
