Pedro Gallese (born February 23, 1990 in Lima ) is a Peruvian football player on the position of goalkeeper .

career

society

Gallese received his football training in the youth field of a lower class club called Deportivo Real San Isidro .

He then moved to Club Deportivo Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMdP), in whose first team he was accepted in 2007. Because Gallese was hardly used there at first, he was loaned to Atlético Mineiro for 2009 , where he was able to gain initial experience. In 2010 he returned to the USMdP, gradually began to play more and was a regular goalkeeper in the 2014 game year. For the 2015 game year, Gallese switched to league competitor Juan Aurich , especially since the CD USMdP was no longer as strong as in 2007, 2008 and 2010, when the Peruvian soccer championship was won three times .

On July 1, 2016, Gallese moved abroad for the first time and received a contract with the Mexican first division club Tiburones Rojos Veracruz .

National team

Gallese made his first international appearance for the Peruvian national soccer team in a friendly against Panama on August 6, 2014 , which was won 3-0. The next year he played all five of Peru's international matches at the 2015 Copa America , which ended with third place. Gallese was also part of the Peruvian World Cup squad at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and played all three games that the Peruvians who were eliminated after the preliminary round played there. Gallese only conceded two goals in his three full-distance appearances: one goal each in the 1-0 defeats to Denmark and France , before surviving the last group game against Australia (2-0) without conceding.
