Mauricio Pereyra , full name Mauricio Ernesto Pereyra Antonini , (born March 15, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

Depending on the sources, the 1.73 meters or 1.77 meters tall midfielder Pereyra has been in the first division squad Nacional Montevideos since at least 2008 . He made his debut there in the Clausura 2009 on February 18, 2009 in the Copa Libertadores game against Club Libertad . For the Bolsos he played 53 games (three goals) in the Primera División , nine games (no goal) of the Liguilla Pre-Libertadores and 16 games (one goal) of the Copa Libertadores up to and including the Clausura 2011 . In the seasons 2008/09 and 2010/11 he was with his team each Uruguayan champion. He then moved to Club Lanús, which was coached by Gabriel Schurrer at the time, for a transfer fee of 1.5 million dollars . For the Argentines he played 47 times in the league (three goals) and was used four times in the Copa Libertadores (no goal). In February 2013, Pereyra, represented by Uruguayan advisor Ricardo Canals , was transferred to the Russian club Krasnodar , where he was supposed to sign a three and a half season working paper. The transfer fee was rumored to be 2.8 million dollars. Pereyra initially let the change burst with his veto. The next day, however, the change came about after an improvement in the offer. In Russia, he has played 101 times in the local league (as of July 15, 2017) and scored 19 goals. In the 2014/15 Europa League season he played eleven times (two goals), six times (one goal) in 2015/16 and ten times (no goal) in 2016/17 . In addition, five national cup appearances (no goal) in Russia have been recorded for him.

National team

Pereyra was a member of the Uruguayan U-15 team coached by Ángel Castelnoble , which participated in the 2005 U-15 South American Championship in Bolivia . He also played in the Uruguayan U-17 national team and was part of the squad at the U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador in 2007 . He was also part of the U-20 selection . He took part with the team at the U-20 South American Championship 2009 in Venezuela and the U-20 World Cup 2009 in Egypt . At the South American Championship he was used eight times, during the World Cup tournament he ran four times. Pereyra was also part of the U-23 squad set up by national coach Óscar Tabárez in the run-up to the 2012 Summer Olympics .
