Ocimar de Almeida Júnior , called Júnior Urso , (born March 10, 1989 in Taboão da Serra , SP ) is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used centrally in the defensive midfield.

Career

Júnior Urso started his career at EC Santo André . On January 22, 2010, he made his debut in the State Championship of São Paulo . In the game against AD São Caetano he was substituted on in the 83rd minute. He made his international club debut in the 2012 Copa Sudamericana . Now playing for Coritiba FC , they faced Gremio Porto Alegre on August 1st . In the same year, the player also scored his first goal as a professional. In the Série A 2012 he achieved this on August 17 against the CR Vasco da Gama .

At the beginning of 2014, Júnior Urso moved to Shandong Luneng Taishan in China . With this he won the Chinese Football Cup in 2014 . For the 2016 season, the player was loaned to Atlético Mineiro . At the end of 2016, Júnior Urso from Shandong was sold to Guangzhou R&F . Three million dollars are said to have been paid as a transfer fee.

At the beginning of February 2019, the return of Júnior Urso to Brazil became known. He signed a contract with Corinthians São Paulo until the end of 2022. After canceling his contract with Guangzhou the day before, he was able to transfer for free. After the 2019 championship was over in December, it became known that Júnior Urso would move to the USA . He received a four-year contract with Orlando City .
