society

Antônio Carlos started at Fluminense Rio de Janeiro in his youth . At the club he was sorted out in 2010 because of his small height. Shortly thereafter, it went through a growth spurt. This was followed by an offer from CR Vasco da Gama , which did not come to fruition. He failed a test at Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . Antônio Carlos then moved to Audax Rio de Janeiro that same year . In 2011 he was loaned to Grêmio Osasco Audax for the games in the youth competition of the São Paulo State Cup . In the course of the tournament, the Corinthians São Paulo noticed him so much that they loaned him out that same year.

In 2012, Audax accepted an offer from Corinthians and Antônio Carlos moved permanently to São Paulo. Corinthians acquired 40% of the transfer rights and Antônio Carlos signed a contract until the end of 2015. 10% of the rights belong to Antônio Carlos himself and the remaining 50% remain with Audax . The nineteen year old made his debut in his first year as a professional. In the São Paulo State Cup 2012, his club played against Guarani FC on March 10, 2012 . In that game he was in the starting line-up. Subsequently, Antônio Carlos was rarely used. He played only two games in the state championship and three in the A series . Antônio Carlos played his first game in the top Brazilian division in the 2012 season on May 20, 2015, the first day of the season. In the home game against his first youth club FLU , he was in the starting line-up.

So that the young player Antônio Carlos can gain more experience, he was loaned to Oeste FC at the start of the 2013 season. At Oeste he played ten games in the state championship of São Paulo and one in the B series .

Despite the contract extension until the end of 2015, Antônio Carlos did not play a role in Corinthians ' plans for the 2014 season either , so that he was loaned to Avaí FC for the year . At the club, Antônio Carlos became a regular. He played 16 games in the state championship of Santa Catarina as well as three in the Copa do Brasil 2014 and 32 out of 38 possible in the Série B.

In January 2015, Corinthians first announced an extension of the loan to Avaí . Antônio Carlos then moved to Tombense FC . From Tombense he was then loaned to Avaí . After the end of the season, another loan deal was announced in December.

Antônio Carlos' next stop was CR Flamengo . The club borrowed until the end of 2016. The contract contained a purchase option. Antônio Carlos had to leave FLA after the state championship in Rio de Janeiro . In the competition he did not play and was only once on the bench as a reserve player. For Antônio Carlos, the next loan followed. He joined AA Ponte Preta in May 2016 , with whom he competed in Série A for the rest of the year.

When the loan expired, Antônio Carlos returned to São Paulo. He was loaned to Palmeiras São Paulo for a year . The contract contained a purchase option at the end of the loan deal. With Palmeiras , the player made his debut at international club level. In the 2017 Copa Libertadores , they faced Atlético Tucumán in the first match of the group stage . In the game, Antônio Carlos came on for Michel Bastos in the 24th minute . At the end of July of the year, the club withdrew this purchase option early and committed the player. In the 2018 season , in which Palmeiras was to win his tenth league title in the Série A , Antônio Carlos made 22 appearances and scored one goal.
