Percy Celso Olivares Polanco (born June 5, 1968 in Lima ) is a former Peruvian football player .

Career

Olivares played for Sporting Cristal in his home country . After a brief stint at the Colombian Deportivo Cali , he moved to Germany. At Bundesliga club 1. FC Nürnberg , he received the player's permit from the DFB late, so that he came to his first appearance on the 2nd match day of the 1992/93 season. From there on, the captain of his national team was a regular, he completed 19 games and then left the club. Nuremberg's President Gerhard Voack said of the reasons "His wife Christina is too cold in Germany." Olivare's further career was marked by several changes, he still played for CD Tenerife , Rosario Central , CD Cruz Azul , Fluminense FC , PAOK Thessaloniki , Panathinaikos Athens , Universitario de Deportes , FC Dallas and Alianza Atlético .
