Perdea is a white wine variety . It is a new breed by INRA Bordeaux ( Institut National de la Recherche en Agronomie ) Sud-Ouest in southwest France. Under the direction of the Basque Durquéty, the grape varieties Raffiat de Moncade and Chardonnay were crossed . Pierre Marcel Durquety realized a number of new breeds between 1950 and 1980, of which 7 grape varieties received plant variety protection: the 4 red varieties Arinarnoa , Egiodola , Ekigaïna , Semebat and the 3 white varieties Arriloba , Liliorila and Perdea.

In France , about 3 hectares of vineyards are planted with Perdea. The grape variety produces a fruity wine that is also not lacking in acidity. It ripens almost 10 days after the Gutedel . It is quite resistant to the gray rot but tends to trickle down .
