Perez Hilton (born March 23, 1978 in Miami , Florida ; actually Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr. ) is an American blogger . He runs the blog perezhilton.com (formerly: PageSixSixSix.com ) under his pseudonym .

Blogger career

Lavandeira grew up in Miami as a child of Cuban parents of Spanish descent and currently lives in Los Angeles . Before his career as a blogger, Lavandeira earned his living as an actor and also worked for a short time as an assistant at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD, for example: Gay and Lesbian Association Against Defamation ).
