Peter-Jörg Splettstößer

Peter-Jörg Splettstößer (* 1938 in Bad Polzin , Pomerania ) is a German conceptual artist and painter .

Live and act

Peter-Jörg Splettstößer studied from 1958 to 1961 at the University of Education in Bremen and from 1964 to 1969 at the University of the Arts in Bremen with Winfred Gaul and Karl Heinrich Greune . In 1971 he was a founding member of the Bremer Galerie Gruppe Grün .

1979/1980 he worked during a work stay in the studio of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam . 1981/1982 and 1987 to 1989 he had lectureships at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen and from 1999 he was a lecturer at the coordination office for further education at the Hochschule für Künste with a focus on painting and drawing. From 2004 to 2006 he was visiting professor at the International Summer Academy for Art and Design “Pentiment” at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences .

Peter-Jörg Splettstößer lives and works in Worpswede , Amsterdam and Paris .
