Peter Bernstein (composer)

Peter Bernstein (born April 10, 1951 in New York City ) is an American composer of film music .

Life

He has been working for the film studios since the early 1980s. He wrote the soundtracks for films like Sunset Beat - Die Undercover-Cops or Susan's Plan , but also has the music for some TV series like Darling, I've Shrunk the Children , 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer (1987) Stargate - Kommando SG-1 (1997) or Masters of Horror (2005). He is the son of Elmer Bernstein , with whom he occasionally composed for the film (such as Bo Derek's Ecstasy , Wild Wild West or Our hostile neighbors ).

In 1985 he was awarded a Golden Raspberry for the music to Bo Derek's Ecstasy .
