Peter Cischeck

Peter Cischeck (born November 3, 1957 in Gauting ) is a German jazz musician ( double bass ).

At the age of twelve, Cischeck had his first stage appearances in the fields of blues and jazz-rock . He studied at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich , where he graduated as a classical orchestra musician. In the mid-1980s he was a member of various big bands in Munich, particularly those of Al Porcino , Harald Rüschenbaum ( Double Faces , Rondo ) and Gerry Hayes . He also belonged to Max Neissendorfer's trio , with whom the album For You… (1988) was created, and to Charly Antolini's Jazz Power . He has been a member of theAllotria jazz band . He played with Danny Moss , Benny Bailey , Don Menza , Ray Anthony , Al Martino and can also be heard on albums with Rainer Sanders Swing Wing and with the trio of Thilo Wolf .
