Peter Heusch

Peter Heusch (born March 9, 1938 in Halle ; † April 13, 2014 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German actor , director , radio writer, radio play speaker and voice actor .

Life

Heusch grew up in the Allgäu , trained as an actor in Hanover and has worked as an actor in theater and television since 1964.

Among other things, he was in the crime series Ein Fall für Zwei (1987, 1989) and Tatort: ​​The Cold Death (1996) to see. In the theater he appeared at the Münchner Kammerspiele , among others , before working as a director and author for various theaters from 1982. From 1987 Heusch was a radio author. He also worked as a director and speaker for the broadcasters NDR , HR , SWR , WDR , ZDF , ARTE and 3sat . He acted as a narrator in the documentary series Hitler's Women . Heusch was the voice actor in the film In the footsteps of Batman .

For almost 20 years, Heusch read excerpts from the works that were the subject of literary riddles in Peter Härtling's show literature cross-examined on hr2-kultur . For thirteen years he read the complete novel In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust in the Literaturhaus Frankfurt . He has also appeared in video games such as Ratchet & Clank (as Clank), Die Siedler , Stronghold 1 and Stronghold Crusader , Gothic 1 , 2 and 3 and as a narrator in the Spongebob SquarePants listening games.

From 1988 Heusch was a lecturer for language at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts . Since 1994 he has also worked at the Language Institute II at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and at the Institute for Applied Theater Studies at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen .

Heusch last lived in Frankfurt am Main , where he died at the age of 76.
