Peter Hilffert (born July 14, 1958 in Hanover ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Peter Hilffert studied business education and completed an apprenticeship as a banker . He completed his journalistic training at the Axel Springer School of Journalism . He initially worked for the Hamburger Abendblatt and the Pinneberger Tageblatt , and later for the Bild newspaper .

He has been with RTL since 1990 . There he is head of the news department and moderator of the news magazines. Since July 1, 1997, he has also been the vacation replacement for Katja Burkard and Ilka Eßmüller in the moderation of the lunch journal Punkt 12 .

In the early magazines point 6 and point 9 he is also available as a replacement for Wolfram Kons , Birgit von Bentzel , Roberta Bieling and Leonard Diepenbrock .
