Peter Meisenberg
Peter Meisenberg (* 1948 in Meckenheim ) is a German writer , screenplay and radio play author .
Life
After graduating from high school, Peter Meisenberg studied German , history and philosophy and worked as a teacher for German and history. He began his writing career in the early 1980s by writing essays, features and radio plays. Among other things, with his contribution The Collapse of Cologne he critically shed light on the collapse of the Historical Archive of the City of Cologne in March 2009. Meisenberg had already started developing the concept for the radio crime scene in 2008 .
For the radio crime scene Meisenberg wrote various episodes about the investigator Nadir Taraki , including the very first episode The Emir , as well as other radio plays. He also wrote numerous scripts for the television series Die Anrheiner , Marienhof and Anything Life .
Meisenberg began writing novels in the mid-1980s. He became particularly well known for his crime stories about the figure of the inspector Jakob Löhr , who was investigating in and around Cologne.
Peter Meisenberg lives in Cologne.
