Peter Robinson (2010)

Peter Robinson (born March 17, 1950 in Castleford , Yorkshire ) is a British writer . He became known for his series about Inspector Alan Banks, who solves his cases in the fictional Eastvale (Yorkshire).

After studying literature at the University of Leeds , he earned an MA from the University of Windsor and a PhD from York University in Toronto, Canada . Robinson has lived in Toronto with his wife Sheila Halladay since graduating in 1974. From here he serves the American and European book market with great success with his crime novels , some of which have been made into films.

Inspector Banks films

Under the title of the same name: Inspector Banks , motifs of some Banks novels by Robinson were taken and filmed. These were broadcast as a television series in the years 2010 - 2016 with a total of 32 episodes in five seasons.
