The Petit Buëch is a white water river in France that runs in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises in the Dévoluy massif , on the western flank of the Pic de l'Aiguille , in the northwest corner of the municipal area of Gap , generally drains to the southwest and flows after about 44 kilometers above Serres as a left tributary into its twin river Grand Buëch , the one from here loses its suffix and is only called Buëch .
